so check this out. I'm doing some work for a local wholesaler of wall art. He sells to furniture stores, so he has a lot of art. Look at this one he brought in for me to see. it's all silk. Threadwork ON silk and the stitching is all silk.

I'm not really into tigers, but the threadwork on it is amazing!
